Due to fluctuating clearance heights of many drive thru or parking structures, a maximum clearance height sign at the entrance is a necessity. Our hanging clearance bars will give a visual notification to motorist of height restrictions. In addition to a visual stimulus, a physical impact to an overheight vehicle entering the structure will also be given. Not intended to damage a vehicle, the impact from the headache bar is enough to detour the motorist from entering and will in turn protect your parking garage or drive thru from physical damage.
Our hanging Clearance Bars come standard in a highly visible traffic yellow painted finish with black reflective vinyl. They are built with rugged extruded aluminum, making them designed for exterior use. If a custom clearance sign is what you are looking for, the length, color and message can be specific to your requirements.

Directional Systems even has a clearance sign that, coupled with a sensors or loop detectors, can light up with OVERHEIGHT or STOP to warn motorists exceeding the clearance height.
