Direct View and Backlit LED Signs
Directional Systems offers both Direct View and Backlit LED Signs. Backlit signs are illuminated from behind the sign message, the LED bulbs are not visible.
Direct view LED signs display the LED bulbs in a pattern to create the actual message.
Direct View LED Signs
Using the latest LED technology, our LED signs utilize super-bright, wide viewing angle LEDs to ensure easy readability, even in direct sunlight. These architecturally appealing traffic controllers can lower your maintenance costs and reduce your energy costs by 90% while increasing performance. The TCL series will endure in high vibratory conditions where other light sources are prone to failure. Consider virtually no maintenance for 100,000 + hours even in the most extreme conditions.
LEDs allow us to superimpose your messages, thereby reducing the required size of your sign cabinet. For example, an OPEN CLOSED or ATM OPEN CLOSED message sign can now be reduced to one half of its original size. Signs are available in single faced or double faced (messages on both sides). Custom messages are available without the associated custom prices. These LED message signs are available with amazingly short lead times of two weeks or less.

Backlit LED Signs
Using our slim-line aluminum extrusion frames, these signs can be placed on an interior wall with very little protrusion. Units are backlit by LED circuit boards that emit light through a stencil vinyl panel covered by a tinted protective face. LED backlit units are available in a variety of colors including red, green, amber, and blue. These signs have virtually no maintenance and use very little power.
